Wynton Marsalis was the debut album, as a leader, by Wynton Marsalis. It was released in 1982 by Columbia Records. It features seven tracks, three of which are composed by Marsalis.[1] The album peaked at number 165 on the Billboard200 and number nine on Billboard 's Top Jazz Albums chart.[2]
